The terms on which FOBIE.ai is published, in plain words.
FOBIE.ai is an independent directory and review site published by Caliber Ridge Holdings. It describes software made by other companies. It is not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any of the vendors listed, and product names and trademarks belong to their owners.
Nothing here is professional, legal, financial, accounting or technical advice. It is published to help you ask better questions of a vendor, not to replace your own judgement or your accountant’s.
Several of the jobs on this site touch things that are regulated where you are — chasing debts, recording conversations, handling other people’s personal data, sending marketing email. Whether a particular tool is lawful for you to use, in your country, for your purpose, is your responsibility and not something this site can determine for you.
Software changes constantly and pricing changes without notice. Every fact on this site carries a marker saying whether anyone checked it and when, and a great deal of it is currently marked not checked. Treat an unchecked claim as a starting point to confirm with the vendor, never as a fact to act on. What we have and have not checked.
Opinions expressed in reviews are honestly held opinions based on the evidence published with them. Where we get a fact wrong we will correct it and say that we did. Tell us.
Links to vendors’ sites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what is on them or what happens when you use them. Any link that earns us money is labelled as such where it appears, and every commercial relationship is published on how we make money.
If you suggest a tool or report a mistake, you are telling us we may use what you sent to correct the site, and — if you are describing your own experience — that we may publish it as a reader report in your words. We will not publish your email address. If you would rather we did not publish something, say so in the message and we will not.
This site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Caliber Ridge Holdings is not liable for loss arising from decisions you make after reading it. Nothing here limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
